This watermelon juice with mint is such a refreshing drink for the summer. It’s easy to make and you only need a couple ingredients. While I love watermelon, sometimes they’re too big to eat the whole thing, so you need to get creative with how to use the rest. That’s where this recipe comes in!

Why you’ll love this watermelon juice with mint
- Refreshing: watermelon in its original form is very refreshing, so it makes sense it would be even more refreshing once it’s juiced.
- Easy to make: takes only a couple ingredients, and a blender!
- Healthy: some store-bought juices can be very high in sugar. The nice thing about this juice is it’s naturally sweetened by the watermelon, and the mint adds some additional flavour.
What you need to make this watermelon juice with mint recipe

You don’t need much to make this drink. All the ingredient quantities are in the recipe card at the bottom.
- Watermelon: I typically use fresh watermelon, but I imagine frozen chunks would work as well.
- Fresh mint: this adds a bright, refreshing element to the drink. You’ll need some for the drink and some for the garnish.
- Sparkling water: I usually use plain/unflavoured sparkling water, but I think lime flavoured would be delicious.
- Ice: lots of ice for the glasses.
Substitutions & Additions
Substitutions
- Different herbs: if you wanted to try different herbs, that could work! Basil would be yummy. Or a mix of mint and basil.
Additions
- Alcohol: you could turn this into a cocktail by adding some alcohol on your choice.
- Lime juice: a splash of fresh lime juice, or lime sparking water would add a delicious brightness to this already refreshing drink.
