Workshops

Hands-on, interactive workshops where you’ll learn new culinary techniques, recipes & have fun!

Workshops are held in a private cooking studio, located on a beautiful apple orchard outside Thornbury.

Upcoming workshops:

Falafels & Pita Workshop

June 15, 5-8pm

Learn to confidently make falafels & pitas from scratch. You’ll also make pickled onions and tzatziki (a yogurt based dip). Everything you need for a delicious summer meal!

Jam & Scone Workshop

July 4, 9:30-11:30am

Learn how to make jam using seasonal, local fruit. Scones will be prepared by Bailey, but she will walk you through the entire process so you can easily make them again at home.

Kids Summer Camp

July 11-13, 9am-12pm

The perfect way to get introduce your kid to the kitchen, or develop skills that are already there. Your child will have fun making friends, exploring new foods and flavours, and making kid-approved recipes.

Pizza Workshop

July 15, 9am-12pm

This workshop will teach the art of pizza making. You will learn how to make pizza dough from scratch, as well as two sauces: pesto and tomato sauce. Attendees will take home freshly made dough.

Teen Cooking Series

Aug 1, 8, 15, 22, 5-8pm 

Teaching teens basic food skills to improve or build on their current skills & prepare them for college/university or living alone for the first time. They’ll learn to make simple yet nutritious meals.
